WIAL Nigeria is the official branch of the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL).

We help solve complex organizational problems, educate leaders, build effective teams and develop organizational culture.

What’s more, we conduct training for world-class Action Learning team coaches, according to standards developed after 16 years of experience and currently used on all continents.

Participants of our programs grow as leaders, increase the effectiveness of work in their teams and are the seeds that grow to inspire the entire organization.

What We Do

We run activities in organizations that usually fall into two categories:

Training in Action Learning

  • We train future Action Learning team coaches and support them in the certification process at the World Action Learning Institute. Usually participants are internal trainers, coaches, HR specialists and managers who want to implement Action Learning in organizations. In addition to skills, Action Learning School also brings intensive personal and group experience for participants, which increases the quality of relationships and cooperation between them.
  • We run basic workshops for HR specialists who do not necessarily want to act as Action Learning coaches in their organizations, but want to understand what this process is and how to introduce it to their company.
  • We prepare managers to better fulfill their role – to conduct more effective team meetings and more effectively solve problems in a group based on Action Learning techniques and tools. In conducting such workshops, we do not teach them to be Action Learning coaches, but rather to use some of its elements to work more effectively with a team as a manager.

Development of managers and talents

We run teams, managers and talent development programs close to their hearts – based on real business challenges.

In particular, they are used to:

  • help deliver business solutions to pressing organizational problems
  • develop leadership skills of participants, especially regarding communication, cooperation and problem solving in a group
  • improve the quality of cooperation in a given team
  • support the development of an organizational culture based on commitment, attentive listening, respect for diversity, talking about current problems, continuous learning from action and using questions to analyze problems and generate solutions
